What is Tablature?

Tablature is a musical notation that captures the following information

1. It depicts the finger position on the fretboard

2. It does not give us information about the type of note

3. Each string is represented as a horizontal line with the thinnest E string at the top and the thickest E string at the bottom.

4. Fret number is written on the string which needs to be fretted.

5. Zero on any string means open string

6. If the numbers fall in the same vertical line the strings needs to be played simultaneously with corresponding frets as given in the display
